Melting Pot cards

Whilst looking for some other photo's I came across these.  I LOVE playing around with my melting pot and these were some very early attempts ... the backgrounds of my cards have changed now as I no longer use peel-offs but the melted bits are much of a muchness.

  1. Again these are fab. I have seriously thought about getting a melting pot before but if your photos are what you can achieve with one then point me in the direction of the nearest stockist!!! Hugs Mrs A.

  2. Great cards, and I've also been thinking about a melting pot like Mrs A. Love what you made - now, where can I put one in amongst all this mess!! Thanks for the comment, seems you're rolling along now as I can also see your profile from a link (Maggie asked about that so I guess between you it's been sorted). Just shout though! Di xx Now, I can't see your followers but there's a tab at the top of the page so at least I can become a follower. Whoooosh! Di xx

  3. Those are lovely cards, Debbie. Having spent my crafting allowance (and a bit more) for the next couple of months, I shall have to be contented with a foil dish and a heat gun to have a go at that.

  4. Oh WOW! These are fabulous. I am another one who has been thinking about a meltpot, but having trouble justifying it. These helped, lol. Actually, I read somewhere the other day about using little tinfoil baking cases to melt stuff in, using a heat gun. I may give that a go. Ant chance of a write-up on how you did them? The first one is especially stunning.

  5. Love those melting pot things, specially the top one. But how big are they? Just wondering if they are little embellishments or canvasses? (And how are they made?)

  6. Hi Debbie, Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I do love those melting pot embellishments. They remind me of polymer clay ... you can sort of get similar effects with it. And I think those cards (below) are very, very nice.
